Why we started with the 405 WCF.
We love the latest, greatest cartridges and black rifles we have available to us today - we’re living in a golden gun age, for sure. However, there’s a lot to be said for this century plus cartridge that still gets the job done on targets or most game worldwide - even heavy ones.
At 46,000 psi SAAMI, the 405 WCF is a mild mannered, yet heavy hitter that has served America's hunters for over a century.

In planning are the 45-90 and 51-110, other calibers will follow based on demand. The barrel, extractor, and firing pin bushing are all that is required to change between large calibers.

The Model 1890 405 WCF Long Hunter improves on a design that was ahead of its time and went head to head with Ballard and Remington . New high tech 4-axis CNC and EDM techniques are used to make one high precision, robust target and hunting firearms.
In house design ensures our rigorous compliance to current firearm manufacturing standards. Actions and barrels are heat treated high grade steel. Internal screws, pins, hammer, block, and links are moly coated for durability and low friction.
